Thanks for all your concern about whether I'm okay at work. I'll take this chance to say I'm fine, don't worry. My job is to assist my supervisor to do stamping, checking and filing up of things. I'm working in the accounts department(a.k.a. GSS department). This department is extremely busy so even though today is supposed to be half day, I still had to work till 4.30pm. Overall, the people there are quite nice but I haven't got much chance to interact with them due to the heavy work load. Today I finally get to knock off with my supervisor. The previous 2 days she was still working when I left the place. Still trying to get use to the work place... There's another guy working there too. But he is doing different stuffs from me. He is a nice guy who will eat lunch with me. No lunching alone! My pass is not here yet so whenever I need to go anywhere I need to ask for the pass from my supervisor. In the morning have to ask people to open the door for me. Pass please come fast!

On the lighter note, this will be the last post for year 2008.

2008 marks the end of my JC life for the time being. No more COs, studying and unhappy relationships(NOT BGR) etc.... I'll miss them lots. Some relationships strengthened and some weakened. No matter what life still moves on. Also, I had the first job in my life. *My student concession ended too, which means expensive travelling fees! This explains why the more I need to work.* Concluding, 2008 was a fruitful year for me.

See you next year then.

Christmas is over so is my job searching for the time being...

My job that Recruit Express found for me is beginning tomorrow. 5 day work week, 8.30am-5.30pm job as an admin assistant at The Siemens Centre. I'm not sure about what exactly I have to do till I go report for work tomorrow. Anyway, when I went down to check out the area, the Siemens building is extremely huge. Moreover, my consultant asked me to look for a person in the huge buidling! Hopefully I can find her, vice versa. Unless Siemens continue to employ me, this job asssignment officially ends on the 29 Feb 2009. Please let everything go smooothly...

Yesterday, i got the chance to step into a 6 star hotel. It was the Swiss Hotel at raffles city. My uncle's friend's daughters from thai was here for holiday. So our cousins sought of accompanied them around. Then we sent them back to their 6 star hotel. The view of their room is absolutely completely awesome and breath taking. I have never seen the esplanade's from so high above at the 31st floor, except on TV? We bought a slice of cake for my cousin, Lynda, for her birthday. But they couldn't find any lighters/matches in the hotel room so the candle wasn't lighted. To conclude it was fun spending time with my cousins and also the tourists.

Went to another recruit express at ngee ann city tower A today with Shimin. The person said the same thing to us and asked us to wait for results.

Twilight, the movie, is quite interesting, especially if you enjoy vampire themes.

Yesterday my sis and I accompanied my father to Mount E to have his ear checked. The doctor said his nerve is deteriorating and his hearing is not as good as before.For your information, my father is 50 years old this year. A age which is too young for his ears to be not functioning well. The doctor also mentioned that this may be due to genetic reasons. He may eventually need to put on hearing aid. I think I will reduce earphone usage and activities that are gonna harm my ear from now on. Our five senses are all so important so do protect them from young.

I am still an unemployed. The economy outlook is real bad. Be happy that you have a job now. All those jobs that I went interview needed prior experience. How am I gonna get any job experience when nobody wants to give me a chance? I'm sicked of this society. If I still can't find any admin jobs, I may consider other options.

Today my consultant called me again. I thought she wanted to say something like the OCBC bank accepted me or what. But instead she say that the person takes a long time to get back to her so she ask me whether I want to try another job at changi airport. This one will be working with tiger airways and replying complaint emails(sounds interesting). 5 working days. The working hours is from 8.30am to 5.30pm. I asked her to send my details down and see whether there will be an interview for me.

I am going to cook dinner for the family later. Yup, just cooking. My mum prepared all the stuffs so I am just going to cook. Peanuts and "lian ou" soup plus something like clay pot rice just that it is cooked in rice cooker.

After considering, I have decided that if they are gonna employed me, I will work for them first. The reason being I need some experience before I can switch to any better jobs. But that is given that they are willing to hire me. So now I will wait for news from my consultant.

Hopefully everyone's doing well. Haven't seen most of them for quite some time...
