Today I had stats lecturein the morning. As usual, it was a fun lecture with all the friends around me and me around them. After stats, Evelyn, Yanting and I went to attend a lecture conducted by Prof Gosling(she's the director for LSE from London) to highlight to us some useful exams tips for sociology. i find the lecture quite useful and that I could see some light in sociology. At the end of the lecture, we went forward to request to take a picture with her. She was very friendly and even shook hands with us reminding us to work hard. Thank you! The photo is with Yanting.

I bought books at the popular book fair. The books were priced at 5 dollars each. Today is the last day of the book fair. I got the Inkheart trilogy at just 15 dollars(each book costs 5 dollars) and a book title "Follow Your Heart"(FYH) by Andrew Matthews. Inkheart the movie was said by many a flop so I think most probably the book is a lot better? I started on FYH and found it quite interesting. Bascially, it is a book that helps you find purpose and meaning in life. the book is not very wordy and the author adds in interesting illustrations.

My Mum and Dad went out for a movie date. That's so sweet right? Actually we wanted to have a family movie outing but it was cancelled because of everyone clashing schedules. So my mum and dad went to catch the movie first. The main reason of why they went to catch the movie is because my dad had free tickets for "Where got ghosts?". I will have to wait for my sis to watch it with me.

I think I am starting to get use to school. Thanks to all the people around me. They make me feel comfortable and secure just like the feeling which I had a long long time ago. How nostalgic this feeling is...

The first week of school has passed.

Today had sociology lecture. Sadly, I am alone during the lecture. The person sitting beside me did not seem to be very friendly. Although I wanted to try to talk, the atmosphere just don't feel right. So I gave up in the end. Hopefully I can get know someone from the lecture. If not it is quite bored to sit through a 3 hours lecture without people talking to you. Come to think of that I haven't talk to anyone from morning till 4.30pm until my mum and dad came home... ...

School has begun this Monday. As my lessons are mostly in the morning and I have to travel to Clementi, I need to wake up very early everyday.

Today the was some problem with the train service and caused me to be late by about 5 minutes. I would not have been late if the train is functioning properly =( So I felt a bit upset especially when the lecturer for Stats 1 emphasized that he dislike people who are late for class. However, there are some people who arrive at 9am or later when lessons actually starts at 8.30am.

I'm hanging around with my OG mates most of the time. Although we are from different courses, some of our lectures are the same. That means that we can sit together during lessons. Tomorrow I am having sociology lecture which I don't think anyone will be having so I may have to sit alone or hopefully I can make a new friend.

I know she doesn't read my blog. But since I am updating my blog on this special day, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Iris a happy birthday.

The moment when you start to accept reality , will be the moment you can truly move on and continue with life.
