My desktop's not working and it is currently with Xiaoli's Dad who will help us to fix it. So that explains why there hasn't been any updates recently.
Anyway, I attended a Wine Appreciation Workshop today in school. It was pretty interesting. The speaker is a fun person who owns a restaurant at Funan Centre. Overall, the course is enriching as he taught us how to observe the colour, smell of the wine and taste of the wine. The course was just 2 hours but he managed to cover as much as he could. Everyone got to try 1 glass of sparkling wine, 3 glasses of white wine and 2 glasses of red wine. I guess we are all very satisfied at the end of the day. Tomorrow I'm going for another workshop! Next week there's the personality workshop.

The assignments are stacking up and tests are coming very soon. Although the marks are not going to be counted in the final exams, we are all working very hard. Econs is so different and the assignment question 2 is so difficult!
It is good to be working hard because everyone is working hard together with you!

1st September
My cousin Jazli asked me to go over for tuition on Tuesday, the 1st of September. When I reached their house, the first thing him and his brother told me was "Happy Teachers' Day". After which, they handed the presents to me. for As long as I can remember, for all these years I have only been wishing my teachers "Happy Teachers' Day". Although I am just their tuition teacher, I can feel the happiness of being teacher and receiving gifts as well as wishes from your students. It always feels different when you are looking at things from a different point of view. Sometimes when I teach them I wonder why don't they wanna work harder or why don't they put in more effort in their work. I believe it is just like how my teachers felt. Anyway, this is a really sweet feeling and special occasion that I will remember. The following are the pictures of the presents:

The lemon shaped hand cream with a nice cover outside it.Yesterday, we had a E7 girls gathering organised by Kailin! Lee Lian, Keyang, Meizhen, Shimin, Ziying, Kailin and I attended the outing, which is a total of 7 people. Yuye wasn't free to go. I was quite disappointed when I know that she cannot go. Thank you Kailin for organising and thank you Lee Lian for the company(I love you always) =) We went to BBQ chicken at tampines 1 and unfortunately we got caught in the dinner crowd. So we waited for like 1 hour before there is any seat available. We ate and shared about our lives. I heard interesting stories from them. Listening to their stories and laughing made me feel very comfortable. I can only be so natural in front of them other than my family members. Thank you for such a great time.
Today morning my mum, sister and I went delifrance for breakfast and did some grocery shopping at NTUC. I requested for my sister to cook Alio Oglio and she agreed. I am so happy because it has been a long time since I last ate it. She seldom cooks ever since she started working. But the standard is still there and it may have even improved. Her Alio Oglio is the best in the world! I was so satisfied with the meal! Thank you, Jie!
